CCR001. Organz / O'Deth, My Child "Drgz! Drgz! Drgz!" split LP -- $8ppd*

Original Release Date: November 17, 2003 (Split release with Nail in the Coffin and Robot Winter)
Number Pressed: 502 (292 black/104 blue/106 green)
O'Deth, My Child is a dark and dramatically moody electronic experiment from Western Illinois. 3 tracks of unobjectionably catchy electronic dance beats, ear piercing noise, and soothing ambience. Organzzz! are the other half of the LP. The residual effects of snorting broken glass, smoking weed and fucking on ecstacy broadcast over 10 tracks. These albums are also hand screened and numbered. This album is RADICAL.
CCR002. Hewhocorrupts / Fork Knife Spoon split 7" -- $4ppd*

Original Release Date: October 17, 2004 (split release with Take it Back Records and First Blood Family)
Number Pressed: 1500 (1200 black/100 white/100 red/100 yellow)
Hewhocorrupts are from Chicago and enjoy swordfighting and playing grind really, really fast. This band has many big deals in it. Jason Zdora and John Mendola, for example. They even have one HUGE deal -- Ryan Durkin! When you have major players like this in your band, it is hard to just be a bunch of FucKS, which is what Fork Knife Spoon are. FKS is the exact opposite. People don't care about them as much, but it doesn't matter because they just thrash hard; they are (Quad Cities) thrashmasters. When I put this album on I just want to sit there and feel the good vibrations forever. I don't want to do anything but just vibe out and feel what it's all about. I just want to sit there forever and flip the album over and over and feel the good vibrations and never let them stop.
CCR003. Curbstomp / Forgotten Four split 7" -- $4ppd*

The Forgotten Four bring straight ahead punk rock and roll to the table like no other in Chicago can. This record was made in order to appease the Gods of the lost art of the crossover split, and it succeeds at doing so. CCR favors crossover splits over any other.

Writing about women is Mansuper's specialty. He does that for all 10 of these simple folk love songs. More poetic than Simonides and a better songwriter than Dylan, Mansuper is a hidden treasure of Indianapolis. No doubt these tracks will have you flocking to Locals Only to catch the Mansuper live experience.

CCR009. Harpoon / Eyes "Live!" split CD-R -- $3ppd*
Original Release Date: April, 2008 (split release with Nail in the Coffin Records)
Number Burned: 100
This is a delightfully primitive LIVE split between the psychedelic pop group Eyes and the speed metal crash band Harpoon. It was recorded live at Mixtapes in East Moline, Illinois on December 27, 2007. Both sets are about 15 minutes each, making this a perfectly timed live album that's sure to please the punk/hc crowd! It's nice to do split releases between truly different bands. I've always liked doing this. This is a good example of one of those releases. Harpoon rock loud and fast, and Eyes play a few hits then transition into a few songs featuring an extended lineup including a horn section and additional percussion.
CCR010. Eyes "Eyes on Eyes" cassette -- $3ppd*

Original release date: May 19, 2008
Number dubbed: Probably a lot
Probably the catchiest and most noisy thing you'll hear all year. Originally a Nail in the Coffin CD release, now re-released on Calls and Correspondence as a cassette. This cassette packs 12 tracks of pop/noise from 2 of Quad Cities finest (Billy Harris of FKS, and Jorge Tapia of Organz, and Humans). This is really a nice release by Eyes because every song sounds different. Most tracks are electronically driven, but also make use of guitars, dualing vocal melodies, and other various noise/instrumentation. Please give this one a listen if you're up for something that is experimental and psychedelic. Let it rip!
CCR011. Muzzler/MZRCDXVL split 7" -- $4 ppd*

Release date: December 5, 2008
Number pressed: 300
Finally, the split we've all been waiting for. The best of both worlds. Chicago's own Muzzler represent half of this album with just one song, "Widowmaker." The song is an intense 5 minutes packed with attitude, unique rhythms, and of course pummeling heaviness. Hometown heros (Dekalb) MZRCDXVL play it up at a bit faster tempo. The MZR side is a bit more noisy and rock and roll. MZR frontman Mike Miller drew the wicked cover art.
